Subject: Thank you DFW!

Just a quick note to say thank you to DFW and the two employees who were at the Tumwater Falls Fish Ladder on Saturday. My wife and I traditionally take our two sons to watch the salmon swimming in the pens. DFW had a number of demonstrations going on. The best part was that the guys were terrific with all the kids inviting them into the area where they had the fish, holding the fish up and letting the kids touch and feel them. It's things like this that make all the difference to our children not to mention teaching them the importance of being good stewards to our natural resources. While I wasn't able to get the names of the two employees, we were there shortly before noon and I believe they said they were "hatchery technicians." My best regards to them and sincere appreciation for the manner in which they "chose" to do their jobs during our visit!
