Subject: Excellent Game Warden in Columbia County
Dr. Koenings, Director, WDFW:
I am a landowner and resident of Columbia County. I would like to express my thanks to
WDFW and the local Fish and Wildlife Officer, Todd Vandivert, who has been stationed in our
area for a number of years. Officer Vandivert has done an outstanding job of keeping the citizens
of this area posted, enforcing game laws and working with local organizations and other law
enforcement departments here. We have had a rash of elk poaching in this area in recent years,
but not because of lack of effort and diligence on the part of Officer Vandivert. He is much
appreciated in Columbia County.
