The following e-mail message was sent to WDFW Lands Division Manager Mark Quinn regarding the department's Lands 20/20: A Clear Vision for the Future From: Fred Zitterkopf, Inland Northwest Wildlife Council (INWC) To: Mark Quinn, WDFW Lands Division Manager Date: 09/17/05 Subject: Lands 20/20: Vision Plan Mark, The final of the plan is a quality, professional document which I believe captured the working group's thoughts. It should give the department a road map of how currently owned lands are managed and new are obtained. It certainly is a business oriented approach and should make land decisions more defensible. But most importantly it gives the department a strategic approach to using land management as a serious tool in managing for all wildlife in the state. Please send me two more copies.
