Draft
Wolf Conservation and Management Plan
All of
the chapters of Washington’s Wolf Conservation and Management
Plan have been drafted to date and are posted here. Chapters
are based in part on preliminary thoughts by WDFW staff, in
part on the initial deliberations of the Wolf Working Group,
and in part on existing information on wolves from other states.
These versions of the chapters are intended to be a "canvas"
for the Wolf Working Group to evaluate and discuss and should
be considered review documents only. The draft chapters
have not gone through peer or public review yet and may change
considerably before being finalized.
