Wildlife addressed on this page not only include non-game animals but also game animals. In addition to the non-game animals we all enjoy seeing - birds, frogs and butterflies, most of us are thrilled at the chance to see large game animals in non-hunting situations.  So enjoy!

The Wildlife Diversity Division is partially funded by sales of Wildlife Conservation License Plates. You can help this program by buying or continuing to renew your personalized Wildlife Conservation Plates! The Wildlife Diversity Division is responsible for managing over 500 species of wildlife including all threatened and endangered species. The Division's staff coordinate a variety of activities including statewide management, regional management, wildlife surveys and research (which includes both common and rare species); state Watchable Wildlife opportunities; and public information through workshops, newsletters, brochures and public appearances. And it is also this money that has helped bring you these Web pages.
